Araminta Blue lives & works in London, whilst making regular source-material hording trips to colourful, vibrant countries such as Sri Lanka, Morocco & Japan.

The act of painting in its purest sense gives her joy. With a style that treads the line between classical & contemporary, she bases her organic forms on domestic images & places them in uncanny senarios. Pairing the familiar with the unfamiliar initiates a starting point for symbolic narrative. 

Araminta graduated from the Ruskin Scool of Art, Oxford University in 2012 & holds a Diploma from Chelsea College of Art. As of September 2017 she will begin a Masters of Fine Art at The Slade.
